SiliconBlue has taken the next step in Custom Mobile Device solutions by offering its iCE40™ “Los Angeles” mobileFPGA™ family. The iCE40 Los Angeles family is designed for sensor management, video & imaging, custom connectivity, and memory & storage expansion. Fabricated on a 40-nm low power, standard CMOS process, iCE40 has been optimized for mobile consumer applications including smartphones, tablets, digital still cameras, e-book readers, and portable navigation devices.
The Los Angeles family is offered in two power / performance variants.
LP-Series (Low Power) is optimized for handheld applications such as smartphones.
HX-Series (High Performance) is optimized for higher performance for tablet applications.
