All I am proud to have been tapped to co-chair (wiyth no less than Prof. Bill Goddard of Cal Tech) the 17th annual Foresight Conference Feb 7-9 in Palo Alto CA. I am attachning the memo beow:
Here at the Foresight Institute we are getting excited about our upcoming Technical Conference 'Integration'.
The conference will be held from February 7-9, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto, CA.
From the beginning, 27 years ago, Foresight has promoted the vanguard of Nanotechnology. Over this extremely dynamic period, Nanotechnology has come of age -- through the discoveries are extremely small, the impact has been huge and laboratory curiosities a generation ago are now part of the industrial basis set. Our Technical Conference this year focuses on this, with the theme of 'Integration' and our co-chairs Robert Meagley and William Goddard have been curating an exceptional line up of speakers.
We are especially excited that Dr. Paolo Gargini has agreed to be our Keynote speaker. Paolo is the former VP of Technology Strategy at Intel and is currently the Chairman of ITRS (International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors). Paolo will share with us his unique perspective of applied and emerging Nanotech, especially from the perspective of how the semiconductor industry has been driving to atomic precision and spinning off materials and technologies discovered along the way.
A few of our other speakers include:
- Prof. Cliff Henderson, GA Tech
- Prof. Philip Wong, Stanford
- Dr. Steven Roscoe, 3M
- Dr. Ron Zukerman, LBNL
- Dr. Reza Arghavani, LAM Research
- Banning Garrett, Atlantic Council
- Dr. Boris Kobrin, Rolith
If you agree that the conference would be of interest to your group we would love to talk with you about a co-promotion agreement.
Sincerely,
Candice
