CornCon Photography and Liability Waiver Agreement:

As consideration for being allowed to enter CornCon (Event) rooms and/or participating in any way in CornCon activities and related events, the undersigned on his/her behalf and on behalf of the registered participants do acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:
1.    In the case that children will be participating in The Children of The CornCon, I represent that I am parent or legal guardian of the registered participants on this event ticket, or I have obtained permission from their parent/legal guardian to act as guardian for the duration of this program and on their behalf, agreeing that at least one guardian will always accompany minor children.
2.    I acknowledge and understand that there are risks involved with participating in Event and the risk of injury may be significant.
3.    I acknowledge and understand that while particular rules, equipment and personal discipline and supervision may reduce the risk of injury, such risk of serious injury does exist.
4.    I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS on my own behalf and on behalf of the minor(s) for whom I am responsible and assume full responsibility for said minor(s) participation.
5.    I understand and recognize that I am responsible for my own well-being and the well-being of any minor under my supervision while participating in Event.
6.    To the best of my knowledge, I am not aware of any physical disability or health-related reasons which would preclude myself or the participant(s) from taking part in any activity.
7.    I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself and any Participant under my supervision from further participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest Event volunteer immediately.
8.    I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Docent Institute (owner and organizer), their designated agents, volunteers, participants, affiliated organizations, sponsoring agencies, sponsors and advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the Event (“RELEASEES”) from any and all claims whatsoever, including disability and/or death, or loss or damage to a person or property whether now known or arising in the future.
9.    In the event a claim is brought by Participant or Releasee against the other, the defendant shall be able to recover any and all attorney’s fees if incurred in successfully defending against such claim.
10.   I hereby certify that I have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the minor Participant(s) listed below and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement. 
11.   I acknowledge and agree to any and all photography and video recording in public areas at the venue of myself and Participant(s) for which I have legal responsibility, and permit use of any photography by Event agents, volunteers, employees, press, sponsors and advertisers for public display and promotional purposes for this Event and for their legitimate purposes. I understand that photography by other participants in public areas is permitted with no restrictions. I will immediately report any behavior that I deem inappropriate to Event staff and volunteers. I will notify official photographers if I do not want photos of myself or children.
