Keynote - Intelligent Automation Panel - Fundamentals for Intelligent Automation Enablement

Abstract:

Embracing Intelligent Automation to enrich employee and customer experiences, enhance data utilization and protection, reduce cost while fostering collaboration, transparency and trust is top of mind for decision makers in 2021 and beyond.

Analysis and measurement along with streamlining processes have overwhelmingly supported automating key functions faster, better cheaper. Effectively using Data Analytics across all functions of the Enterprise have been key to successful automation projects. Keeping data safe at rest and in motion is a must to have ongoing confidence in Intelligent Automation systems.

Cybersecurity is an important and fundamental component of success of any Intelligent Automation initiative. Preventative measures to avert security incidents is necessary as post event detection is meaningless to operations. Breaches of automated systems will cause abrupt systemic failures with a high risk of large negative operational impact that will take time and intellectual sophistication to research and resolve.

The most enlightened companies have Data Scientists on board to support intelligent automation initiatives and need a solid approach to securing these initiatives. Cyber-attacks and security tools evolve rapidly and keeping current with the latest technology in this space is a perpetual initiative.

Women In Technology Roundtable - Diversity and Inclusion Powers Innovation, Productivity, and Profitability

Abstract:

According to the McKinsey study “Why Diversity Matters,” companies with gender-diverse executive suites were 15% more likely to generate above-average profitability. Companies embracing a higher degree of racially and ethnically diverse employees have a 35% performance advantage over companies relying on a "cultural fit”.

Therefore, highly diverse companies who incorporate an assortment of talents, cultures and points of view are more innovative, more productive, more profitable and retain highly trained motivated employees as well as a loyal customer base. Translating this into dollars and cents; diversity and inclusion pencils out to at least 19% higher revenue due to a higher degree of innovation and more agile, revolutionary decision making. 2021 has been labeled the year for diversity and inclusion. These will be the relevant companies for the future. Come join these thought leaders for this vibrant interactive discussion.

Netskope: Shifting from Implicit to Adaptive: Using SASE and Zero Trust to Enable Continuous Adaptive Trust

Presenter:

Shamla Naidoo, CISO, Head of Cloud Strategy

Abstract:

Some of today’s most common security challenges arise from moving from one data center to many centers of data, sensitive data stored across multiple cloud services, and users working from anywhere and on any device. Addressing these challenges requires enhanced visibility and context, and the most effective way for security leaders to adapt is by shifting to a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture while focusing on core Zero Trust principles to enable continuous adaptive trust.

In this session, we will discuss:

· Why implicit trust is the root of most security problems
· How Zero Trust principles make an excellent starting point for a new paradigm
· Best practices for implementing SASE to achieve continuous adaptive trust

The Digital Yellow Brick Road Leads to the Emerald City and the Wizard is the CIO

Abstract:

Enterprises are repositioning people, remodeling data, reforming processes and repurposing technologies.

“Organizations that have increased their funding of digital innovation are 2.7x more likely to be a top performer than a trailing performer,” according to Gartner.

By proactively preparing and planning for strategic disruption, CIOs initiate an innovative culture. Boards and CEOs are urgently slating financial and people resources for digital acceleration, racing to be in front of the pack. To facilitate front runner mindsets are technologies like 1) Digital Workplace, to support work from anywhere and to facilitate collaboration; 2) Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) for faster, more precise, and cheaper; 3) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate repetitive tasks, customer interaction and supply chain delivery; and 4) Distributed Cloud and Multi-experience Platforms for scalability and an integrated ecosystem.

These emerging technologies automate processes and decisions, enabling “The Business” to move at a faster pace with more flexibility and scale digitally. Silos are “out” and key C-level relationships (CIOs, CISOs, CDOs, COOs and CEOs) are collectively solidifying in a more cohesive strategic decision unit focused on governance and digital acceleration.

Are you ready for the Digital Age? Come participate and prepare to lead the pack.
