Worldwide, the COVID-19 global pandemic has exacerbated the plagues of loneliness and social isolation, negatively impacting both older and younger populations. In this session, three different types of aged-care providers, from distinct corners of our globe, discuss programs they operate that break down barriers and integrate the generations.

The conversation will cover approaches for intergenerational settings, support for those with physical and psychological symptoms of dementia at home or a care home, and the experiences of residential communities that have shifted from segregation to inclusion for those living with dementia.
