Email Marketing utilising Mailchimp and Mandrill

The Future without ActiveX & the impact on feature-sets

Sage refactored Sage CRM 2020 R1 to remove ActiveX dependency for features such as the Outlook Plugin installation and document drop. Sage also announced that support for existing features within Sage CRM that depended on technology using ActiveX would be dropped in future. Sage CRM has a hybrid architecture.  This session will look at troubleshooting features within Sage CRM that depend on Java web apps running under Apache Tomcat.  We will consider how to use the System Health and diagnostic tools available, how to read and interpret the logs and how to safely make changes to the system including updating configuration files and web server settings.
